Utica Operator Boosts On-Bottom ROP in Intermediate Section by 18.9%

A leading Utica and Appalachian natural gas producer wanted to increase ROP while batch drilling using a surface/intermediate hole rig. The Operator deployed a real-time intermediate hole section dashboard featuring Corva’s Driller’s Roadmap to mine offsets for best performing parameters and Corva’s Parameter Comparison app to match target well performance with recommended parameters.

Leveraging Corva’s apps and dashboard, the operator accelerated on-bottom ROP and cut more than half a day of rig time.
